A glorious week in Selva: hiking, swimming, relaxing, enjoying serious family time and wonderful dining. We had walks in the brillant sunshine, pouring rain, thunder, lightening, and dark clouds.We experienced varying temperatures from hot to cold. Mountains were the pure, lightish violet color of the dolomite stone one minute and snow covered the next minute after the fog lifted from the rainstorm in the valley. We could watch it all from either the sala relax (chill out zone of hotel), the outdoor heated hot tub or the fabulous outdoor heated swimming pool (this was of course after we returned drenched from our daily hiking adventure). Such a wonderful week in one of the most beautiful parts of Italy.
