long hanging tapestries and small short versions were on display
Very nice reception in the Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi. Cocktails to start with lots of bowls of fresh walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds. Huge spread of food both Italian and Egyptian. We especially enjoyed the moussaka and the egyptian pastries. The room was decorated with objects such as shown above as well as copper objects, small bronze pyramids, bronze camels, tea glasses, baskets of dates, king tut objects, and maps. There was even a person all dressed in a gold lamee covering from neck to foot with a King Tut mask. He must have been warm! |
